1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device when you visit them. They're used for things like keeping you signed in, remembering your preferences, and measuring how a site is used. This page explains which cookies Suvio uses and how you can change your choices at any time.
2. Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for Suvio to work. They handle authentication (keeping you signed in), session state, security, and the consent preference itself. Essential cookies cannot be turned off — without them the site can't function.
- Authentication & session — set when you sign in so Suvio knows who you are across pages.
- Consent preference —
suvio_cookie_consentstores your cookie choices so the consent banner doesn't re-prompt you on every visit. Stored for 365 days.
3. Analytics Cookies (Optional)
With your consent, Suvio uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, where people drop off, how features are discovered. This helps us make the product better.
- What it measures: page views, navigation paths, approximate session duration, device and browser type, broad geographic region.
- How it's scoped: Suvio runs GA4 in Consent Mode v2. Until you accept analytics cookies, GA4 stores nothing on your device and sends no identifying data — only anonymous, aggregated signals.
- Data retention:14 months on Google's side (the GA4 default), after which event-level data is automatically deleted.
- Vendor: Google Ireland Limited.
4. Marketing Cookies (Optional)
Marketing cookies are used to deliver personalized content and measure ad performance. Suvio doesn't currently run any marketing cookies — the category is shown in the consent banner so that if we ever do, your existing preference is already on record.
5. Changing Your Preferences
You can change your cookie choices at any time. Click Cookie Settings in the footer of any page to re-open the consent panel and adjust the toggles. Saving new preferences applies them immediately — no page reload needed.
You can also clear all Suvio cookies through your browser's privacy settings. Doing so resets your consent state; the banner will reappear on your next visit.
6. Browser Controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies entirely. If you disable essential cookies, parts of Suvio (such as signing in) won't work. Optional cookies (analytics, marketing) can be blocked without affecting site functionality.
